Well now the curious part is...8pm in what time zone? :) I'm assuming in Florida, cause I think it's a brilliant idea and I don't want to miss seeing it.
This one strikes me as ominous. The transition from the background to the foreground seems to indicate movement into the lighter area of the piece, but nevertheless it coveys a certain sadness.
After having read Joel's post and watched his video, I have to say life is a journey. Enjoy the trip. There will always be something on your to do list. There will always be some dream languishing in the corner. There will always be some way in which we can improve ourselves.
Life isn't about arriving at a destination. It's about the joy of discovery.
One of my favorite quotes is: "Perhaps God wants you to meet many of the wrong people before you meet the right one, so that when you finally meet them you will know to be grateful." I think there's something to that. Whether or not you believe in God, gratitude is a beautiful thing.

This is so cool. What medium do you draw with?
Just stumbled upon this. I'm listening to some of your podcasts as you draw for us. Very nice work!

Hugs.
Very interesting painting.
The message seems to be about a man who is finally finding his way toward his desired light.
