The Thing About Zeros

Now you and I both know that age is all a matter of perception. Right.

Yet there are still a few things that will still hit me like a big tractor trailer upon their reaching a certain number of years. This would be a big'un.

Um....EEP! Jeez now I feel even older :) Just makes me realize where I was 20 years ago and...well it's kinda freaky.

....now where'd I put that rockin chair?

I'm so damn old that I didn't even know there was a Transformers Movie. Though I do remember my nephew playing them.

Yikes! Although I think that the 30th anniversary of Star Wars (next year) is much more frightening to think about.

I can handle the Star Wars being thirty as I wasn't even born yet. I mean heck I'll be thirty next year, too. Just the fact that I thought I was much older when sitting in the theater... Just picture a blubbering 8 year old when Optimus Prime bit the big one.

Yes, age is definitely a matter of perception.
I am so glad that after years of taking care of my skin, it has payed off. I'm in my thirties and people still think I'm in my twenties.

I hear ya mister!

I was a He-Man fan. When they release the 20th Anniversay collection of episodes I thought I should also pick up a walker, white loafers and incontinence pads.

How does one feel so old before 30?

Weird...Funny thing is that it still looks totally cool.

I hate things that say "twentieth anniversary" on them. Especially when they seem like JUST the OTHER damned DAY.

I was too old for the Transformers. I've got a full decade you, youngster.

I was so sad that most of the original Transformers died. I think I cried, now that I think of it...

Of course I was like 9 I think.

Wow. That's kind of...I'm trying to decide between awesome (because it is the Transformers after all, and I'm pretty sure that Hot Rod AKA Rodimus Prime was a big ol' raging queen of a robot), and depressed because when I tried to hand a copy of the DVD to my nephew, he's all like "This isn't mecha anime, what's up with that?"

The movie did rock my world though. So I made him watch it.
