Is Van Gogh an influence for you? Just curious.
I like the kinetics of it. Strong motion between the subjects with the cyclonic motion of the background to give it some context. I especially like the use of warm and dark colors. While the title insinuates a more sinister intent on your part, I actually get more of a parental energy from it. Curious, that.
I'd have to agree with Larry. Definitely not a sinister-feeling with that painting, other than the dark background.
Makes me think of a kid chasing fireflies in the backyard.
