Secret Simon Vid No. 003

Watch the vid.

Unacceptable levels of toxic heavy metal detected in the blood stream. The contents of the heart are heaviest when it rains.

Peace,

That piece of film as an absolute gem.

For the record, my parents never locked the house once the entire time I was growing up. And I've done the same, in a city with real crime rates, in a suburb where there's lots of stuff in the houses to steal. I have a feeling my kids will grow up to do the same. It was never a decision, it's just the way we live, and in some strange way I think it has made my kids feel safer in the world, and not the reverse.

But of course that wasn't the point of your post.

I'm very glad you end with "stuff happens."

you make me want to be a better person... you are truly an amazing guy.

Yep, Stuff happens. You know that. She knows that. I may be wrong, but I think you already discovered that the bottomline here seems to be how to maintain channels of communication that say 'I care', 'I love you', 'I'm sorry' without being misconstrued in any way. Well, choose to express yourself as beautifully as you do with yourself, with 'us'. She will see you in the same beautiful light we--your cheering section--do. Your narrative is sooo addictive.

Fascinating. As always, your ability to be creative and yet share your life with others the way you have is ...I am struggling to find the best word to describe it... encouraging.

There is always something to be learned in life, even with what we see as mistakes; yet the greater thing than that is the ability to forgive one's self.

That is even stronger than the Wind, and can divert its power to some useful end.

Please be sure to forgive yourself as she forgave you. With the caveat of not making the same mistake in the future.

When I was 17 or 18, I visited my cousin after her second son was born. They had a pool in the backyard. At one point everyone but me and the baby had gone back into the house. Then I got up and went in to use the bathroom, leaving the baby alone by the side of the pool.

Nothing happened, thank God, but I learned and now I am alert whenever I am around my nephews, or any children for that matter. And my cousin forgave me.

Beautiful video. You are a true artist.

And I really like the haircut.

Wow. I was completely moved by this post. Your video work was really amazing... the rain falling, the sound of traffic in the background... the words juxtaposed with the images. Very powerful. Thank you for sharing this with us!!!
